Barry C. Altura, M.D.  

 

Barry C. Altura M.D., F.A.A.P. earned his Bachelor of Science, biology, from City University of New York, Queens College in 1972.  He attended medical school at State University of New York at Syracuse in 1976.  Dr. Altura completed his internship at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in 1978 and completed his pediatric residency also at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in 1980.  Dr. Altura was also Chief Resident from 1980-1981.  He has been board certified in pediatrics since 1982 and was an attending at New York Hospital-Cornell from 1980-1986, where he was the supervisor in the Pediatric Emergency Room for 5 of those years.  Dr. Altura is on staff at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton campus, where he has been the Chairman of Credentialing for the past 10 years.  He has also has been a past Chairman of the Pediatric Department and former member of the Medical Executive Committee at ORMC.  Dr. Altura and his wife, Mary, have 3 children.  “It is my pleasure to care for your child,” says Dr. Altura. 

Paul Mark Baker, M.D.

 

Paul Mark Baker, M.D., F.A.A.P. attended Davidson College, North Carolina and graduated phi beta kappa in 1971 and graduated from Cornell University Medical School in 1975.  He completed residency at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in 1978.  Dr. Baker has been board certified in pediatrics since 1980.  In 1995, Dr. Baker was the Chairman of the Pediatric Department at Horton Hospital.  He is an instructor of the Newborn Resuscitation Program at Orange Regional Medical Center.  Dr. Baker is on staff of Orange Regional Medical Center-Horton campus and New York Presbyterian Hospital- New York Hospital Branch.  He and his wife, Andrea, have two sons, and they enjoy biking and jogging.  Dr. Baker has run the New York City Marathon three times.  He is an avid New York Yankees fan

 

Richard T. Fuchs, M.D.

 

Richard T. Fuchs, M.D., F.A.A.P. graduated from Syracuse University in 1983 with a bachelor of science in biology and received his M.D. from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University.  He trained at the University of Connecticut Health Center.  Dr. Fuchs became board certified in 1990, and recertified in both 1997 and 2004.  Dr. Fuchs is on staff at Orange Regional Medical Center –Horton Campus.  He enjoys photography and family activities, including child oriented museums and travel.

David J. Hill, M.D., Ph.D. 

 

David J. Hill, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.A.P. graduated from State University of New York at Binghamton in 1973 and obtained his Ph.D. in Anatomy from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1979.  He received his M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida in 1985.  He completed his training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1988.  He did a cardiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 1989 and was a postdoctoral research fellow at the department of pathology at Harvard University Medical School in 1983.  Dr. Hill was a predoctoral fellow, teaching assistance, with the department of anatomy at Tufts University in 1979.  He was board certified in 1989, recertified in 1997, and 2003 and is on staff at Orange Regional Medical Center- Horton Campus.  Dr. Hill has a special interest in asthma, ADHD, and congenital heart disease.

 

Stuart R. Kleeman, M.D.  

 

Stuart R. Kleeman, M.D., F.A.A.P. graduated from Brown University, Providence, RI, with honors in human biology and magna cum laude in 1967.  He received his M.D. from Yale University in New Haven, CT in 1971.  He completed his pediatric training at H.C. Moffitt Hospital and San Francisco General Hospital in 1973.  He was a fellow in pediatric nephrology at University of California, San Francisco in 1974 and completed his fellowship in pediatric nephrology at Albert Einstein College, Bronx, NY, in 1977.  He is double boarded in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology.  Dr. Kleeman is on staff at Orange Regional Medical Center- Horton Campus. 

 

 

Patricia Kania Lynch, D.O.  

 

Patricia K. Lynch, D.O., F.A.A.P. graduated from State University of New York at Albany with a BS in biology, cum laude in 1986.  She received her D.O. from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990.  Dr. Lynch completed her internship at Coney Island Hospital, 1991.  Her pediatric residency was done at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Schneider Children’s Hospital in 1994.  She has been board certified since 1994 and is on staff at Orange Regional Medical Center- Horton Campus. 

Samatha Bagam, M.D.

Samatha Bagam M.D. F.A.A.P. graduated from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in October 2000. She completed her Pediatric Residency training at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in June 2008.  She has been board certified in pediatrics since October 2008 and is on staff at Orange Regional Medical Center- Horton Campus.
 
Originally from India, Dr. Bagam has been practicing pediatrics as a primary care physician since March 2009.  Dr. Bagam has a special interest in Endocrinology.

 

Amy E. Spoto M.D.

Dr. Amy E. Spoto, MD, FAAP graduated summa cum laude from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY and earned her medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She completed her pediatric internship and residency training at Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University Children’s Hospital in Richmond, VA.

Originally from the Rochester, NY area, Dr. Spoto has been practicing pediatrics since 1998. She has worked as a primary care pediatrician in Alexandria, VA; Rochester, and Orange County.

Dr. Spoto is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her special interests include childhood nutrition and obesity. In her spare time, Dr. Spoto enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, traveling, and hiking with her husband and dog, Hannah.
